CONTRACT DURATION: 6 months
SHIFT: M-F 8-5pm
LOCATION: remote
ONBOARDING TIME: Expect 2-3 weeks from offer acceptance to start date.

DETAILS ABOUT THE POSITION
We have a new opening for a Communications Manager at SHC. The Change Leadership team supports ERP, Finance, and the Controller’s office in executing strategic initiatives in support of business transformation projects. One example includes the creation of communication strategies, plans, and content to support the implementation Workday ERP. The individual selected will be responsible for developing collaborative relationships with stakeholders and developing communication materials that satisfy their communication needs. This position collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to co-create content that is relevant and accurate. This individual selected for this role will support the delivery of content to various audiences, ranging from executives to end users, that build engagement, knowledge, skills, and awareness. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring strategies, plans, and content support ongoing maintenance and training to support the transformation post-implementation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand, identify and advise on communication and engagement opportunities and requirements.
Work with team members and internal stakeholders to identify project news, success stories and thought leadership pieces for both internal and external deployment.
Provide assistance to the leadership team to design, create and update critical communications processes (examples include Board materials, systematic companywide updates and messaging from the executives)
Devise internal stakeholder engagement and communication plans and campaigns, with the support of the various internal teams such as finance, supply chain, PMO, HR, Training, and OCM.
Write and produce communication materials (emails, newsletters, social media posts, etc.) to increase awareness and understanding using all appropriate communication channels and tools.
Work with the internal project team(s) to produce external-facing communications and manage events as needed (meetings, conferences, etc.).
Maintain the team’s tracking system for internal deliverables to ensure initiatives are logged, necessary approvals obtained, and communications are disseminated in the right order and according to deadline.
Monitor feedback and review metrics to measure the impact of communication activities.
Ensure all materials align with our brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Implement new and innovative approaches to extend reach and impact.
Identify key messages and translate information into engaging, persuasive copy.
Clearly prioritize tasks and objectives while recognizing shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
Highly organized and able to work with multiple internal teams on a variety of tasks simultaneously.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, or a relevant field from an accredited college or university
Experience
Six to eight years of experience managing internal communications, with two years’ experience in the healthcare industry
6-8 years in internal communications preferably within the Medical, Pharma, Product Development, Research or in Scientific space. Executive communication experience is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations.
Adept with Office 365 programs
Must have change management and communications experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES
Demonstrated knowledge of how different roles within a business need tailored communications.
Ability to facilitate a cross-functional team and ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and SMEs to produce outcomes.
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
Skills in teambuilding, relationship building, and presentation.
